Under The Milky Way’s international network is made of film industry professionals allying experiences in production, distribution and marketing. All film-enthusiasts and fervent users of new technologies, our network is both experimented and multicultural.
Under The Milky Way is present on 4 continents, and currently covers a total of 110 countries available for movie releases on local VoD platforms.
Pierre-Alexandre Labelle
Co-founder
Pierre-Alexandre started his career as a derivatives trader for Cargill. He then transitioned to the film industry by launching Universcine, one of the first VoD platforms in France, and co-founded Under The Milky Way in 2010.
Alexis de Rendinger
Co-founder
Alexis co-founded Under The Milky Way after many years at CANAL+ and StudioCanal where he managed the transition of its catalogs to digital platforms in North America.
Muriel Joly
CEO
Muriel joined Under The Milky Way in 2013 after having worked in the Video department of StudioCanal and on the Canalplay VoD Platform.
Maxime Attard
IT Director
Maxime gained extensive experience at Deloitte Montreal as Senior IT auditor until 2010. He then joined Ubisoft where he worked for 14 years as Senior Manager Digital Distribution. He joined Under The Milky Way in 2024.
Océane PortaL
Director of Distribution
Océane has a Master's in Global Management from the Bordeaux Management School. She started her career at Canal + before joining Under The Milky Way where she oversees international distribution.
Philippine Rousseau
France and BENELUX Manager
Philippine has a Master's degree in Media, Public and Digital Cultures. She previously worked for Gaumont, TF1, Lagardère and M6. She is now in charge of distribution in France and the Benelux.
MIRANDA SHEPHERD
US and Canada Manager
Miranda holds a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University. She previously worked in VOD distribution at Studio TF1 America and has experience in impact distribution for documentaries. She now joins Under the Milky Way, focusing on digital distribution for North American and Canadian territories.
Pascale Dillemann
Spain and Portugal Manager
Pascale has worked in the Spanish press for over 10 years before holding roles in film distribution and production. She joined Under The Milky Way in 2011.
Vincent Lucassen
Germany, Austria and Switzerland Manager
Vincent founded WILDart FILM, co-founded dok.at, created DocuZone Austria, and joined Under The Milky Way in 2011 to oversee multiple European regions.
CHARLOTTE FUGA
UK & Nordics Manager
Charlotte brings a rich, international background in film sales and distribution. After a BA in Film Studies from Queen Mary University of London and a Master's degree in Film & Television Production, she built her career at TF1 Studio, ARP Sélection, RTL Belgium and ZED, specialising in international sales, acquisitions and distribution across theatrical, TV and VOD rights.
Veronica Miani
International Distribution Manager
Veronica holds a Double Master’s Degree in Film Heritage from the University of Udine and in Cinema Studies from Université Sorbonne Nouvelle and Universidad Pompeu Fabra. She is responsible for Claudia and supports the team in AVOD distribution.
Hélène Petrovitch
Data Ingestion
Hélène has a background in data processing, sales reporting, and system integration. She joined Under The Milky Way as Sales Data Ingestion Specialist.
KLAIRE CHEN
Assistant Manager
Klaire has a background in business, film production and festivals in Australia, the US and France. She provides operational assistance on select European markets.
Pauline portail
Distribution Assistant
Pauline is currently completing a Master's at Sciences Po, specialising in cultural policy and management with a focus on audiovisual. Before joining UMW, she worked on audience profiling and engagement at the documentary streaming platform Tënk.
Clémentine ANUB
Distribution Assistant
Clémentine holds a Master's degree in European and International Studies from Sorbonne Nouvelle and is currently completing a Master 2 in Audiovisual Production and Editorialisation. Previously, she coordinated cultural action programs at the SACD and produced events at La Maison du Film.
LILLA KADAR
Communication Consultant
Lilla has a background in law, communications and psychology. She coordinated producer training programmes and managed communications at EAVE before joining Under The Milky Way, where she works as a communication consultant and serves as the first point of contact for Claudia films.
